Hi, I am Karin Burns and I created Simplified Sobriety after struggling with my relationship with alcohol for many years.

On the outside things looked great, I never got a DUI and was excelling in my technology career so I didn’t fit the stereotype of an alcoholic. 

I tried to stop on my own and tried the traditional 12 Step system but was unsuccessful until I was finally able to receive holistic addiction treatment. 

Using my professional skillset in solution engineering and software implementation I reverse engineered and documented the process utilized at the luxurious treatment center I spent time at. 

I have spent the past seven years creating Simplified Sobriety and helping friends and family understand addiction from a holistic perspective. I focused on making the system as affordable, effective and simple as possible to help as many people as possible.

Simplified Sobriety goes beyond removing alcohol.
